Police called to Morley Morrisons store after reports about man with knife

Police were called to a Morrisons store in Leeds after receiving calls about a man with a knife.

It happened at about 9.30pm on Saturday, May 1 at the Morrisons store in Wellington Street, Morley.

Officers received reports that the man was acting aggressively.

The man was detained under the Mental Health Act.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 9:24pm on Saturday (1/5) police were called to reports of a man with a knife acting aggressively at the Morrisons store, in Wellington Street, Morley.

"Officers attended and the man was detained under the Mental Health Act."
