Pile-up delays traffic on Leeds ring road
FOUR vehicles were involved in a pile-up on the Leeds ring road this morning.
Police, ambulance crews and firefighters were all called to the scene, at the junction with Clayton Wood Rise in West Park, at about 8.40am.
Details about what happened remain unclear, but it is thought several people were taken to hospital. Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
At least one of the vehicles, a Nissan Almera, needed to be recovered from the scene.
