The Ecto-1 is the fictional vehicle used by Ghostbusters to travel around New York City, busting ghosts in the 1984 film.

Mike Wild, from Hollingthorpe, got hold of the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex from New Mexico five years ago.

He's spent years restoring the car into the familiar Ghostbusters model and is working on the finishing touches for the big reveal on Saturday.

Mike, who owns a car hire company and collects famous cars from films, will take the Ecto-1 to a socially-distant Halloween event for Pudsey residents.

He will then drive the model around Leeds and its surrounding villages, playing music to put a smile on people's faces.

The dad-of-two, 42, said: "Everyone is so miserable and getting down, I thought I would put lights on the car and play music, telling kids to look out for the car.
