The Savvy Baker to host 'surprise' pop-up Easter brownie stall at Chophaus restaurant
It's great news for Leeds residents who fancy a sweet Easter treat as The Savvy Baker has announced a 'surprise' pop-up stall at a popular Leeds restaurant this weekend.
Brownie maker Savannah Roqaa, who set up her baking business from her small apartment kitchen in Roundhay just last year, will be hosting the event at Chophaus in Oakwood.
The 24-year-old will be outside the popular steakhouse in Princess Avenue from 12.00pm on Easter Sunday selling her mouth-watering range of brownies.
Savannah announced the event as a 'surprise' for Leeds, dubbing Chophaus 'the place to be' as she told followers that if they missed out on her sold out boxes on her weekly online restock, this was their chance to get their hands on them.
The pop-up is just a part of popular steakhouse Chophaus' Easter weekend events, having hosted a pop-up barbecue on Good Friday to reveal it's new menu and huge heated outdoor terrace.
Savannah's post said: "SURPRISE LEEDS!
"If you missed out on a box this week - we're doing a pop up outside Chophaus Leeds this Sunday!
"Not to forget Chophaus have an amazing weekend planned too!
"It's kind of the place to be"
The Savvy Baker has gone from selling 30 boxes of brownies a week during lockdown to selling 1,000 in just 90 minutes at her first pop up a few months ago.
She has more than 38,000 followers on Instagram with full-time staff working around the clock to keep up with demand and celebrity clients such as Leeds and England player Kalvin Phillips.
Previous creations by The Savvy Baker include Mars Bar brookies, cookie bars stuffed with White Oreo dairy milk, gooey Rolo brownies and white Twix brownies.
But, with it being Easter, Savannah has been previewing some of her festive specials on Instagram which show Mini Egg, Creme Egg, and Malteser Bunny brownies.
She does not cater towards allergies and said that when the brownies have sold out on Sunday, it will be announced on The Savvy Baker Instagram account.
