Tickets will be on sale until 9am on Friday October 30.

Mr Goodridge hopes to donate tens of thousands of pounds to Leeds Children's Hospital if the raffle goes to plan.

The dad-of-two has been trying to sell the house for around a year and said a couple of sales fell through, one failing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The house, which was built in 1868, has five double bedrooms, four bathrooms and five reception rooms, with large landscaped gardens.

It also has a wine cellar with more than 300 bottles of vintage wine.

One of the rooms is currently being used as a games room and has a framed, signed Leeds United shirt on the wall.

Mr Goodridge decided to raffle the house after reading how Dale and Kathy Tate of Ossett, Wakefield, recently successfully raffled off their home and car through an online auction site.

Mr Goodridge has pledged to make a substantial donation to ward 52 on the Clarendon Wing at the children's hospital at Leeds General Infirmary.

Mr Goodridge, who works as a self employed consultant in the building industry, said: “It has been the most marvellous home for our family, but it's the right time for us to make a move and take on a new adventure together.

"Although it was a big decision to raffle off our much-loved home, we’re excited to give someone the chance to win this truly unique Victorian property and make their dreams come true.

"I’ve also been collecting wine for many years and rather than moving it all to another property we thought it’d be a nice housewarming gift for the new owners – a perfect way to toast their win and new home.”
