Steve Lovell, 45, has finally put the finishing touched on his fifth edition of pubs and bars across Leeds in the style of the iconic map.

Steve, a call centre worker from Rothwell, makes the maps as a hobby.

He has spent thousands of hours creating 31 distinct maps from different areas.

The fifth edition of the “Leeds Orderaround” poster features 600 places across the entire Leeds district and over a third of that number are in the city centre.

The original 2013 map took about a year to make, but Steve said he had spent two months putting together the latest edition - including 65 new locations across the city.

Steve said: "I slowly began checking all of the places on the previous map to see if they’d closed or changed and also added any new places that had opened up.

"Along with any design changes, it’s still taken about 2 months to finish.

"Around 50 places have completely closed since the last map in 2016, but there are more places than ever before on the map due to new places that have opened up.

"Although pubs are still continuing to close, I’m pleased to say that not all of the new places were in the city centre.

"One of the best new places I've come across was Tipsy Cow in Morley as it has a cosy relaxed atmosphere with nice lighting.in a good sized space.

"I think there should be more places like that everywhere."
