10 things you said about... Leeds shops reopening as lockdown restrictions ease
Leeds reacted to some of the photos and videos of a busy Leeds city centre.
Today is April 12th, meaning it is the next stage of lockdown restrictions being eased.
This means that non-essential shops, pub beer gardens, gyms and hairdressers are just some of the places that can reopen for the first time in months.
It didn't take long for Leeds to fill up with queues of shoppers and people waiting for a pint at the pub.
Here is what our readers said about it:
Emily Joanne - "Nice to see people out, whether they're queueing or not it's great to see people out and about rather than stuck in their homes."
Katie Sofia - "Looks weird without Topshop there."
Lyn Morgan - "I have no intention of coming into Leeds."
Steve Clark - "If you see any barbers open give me a shout, I look like Hagrid!"
Lorraine Mallison - "Lovely to see a bit of normality, just hope people are sensible."
Tracy Spencer - "Nice to see people out and about for a long time."
Kevin Tickleribs - "Good old Debenhams. What a shame it's closing down."
Dawn Ibbotson - "It's like the city is waking up again!!"
Graeme Richardson - "People have been queueing since 5am in Worthing to get their hair cut!"
Bryan Higgins - "Shops I don't mind for now, but I'm waiting until June, when the inside of the pubs open properly!"
