Transport Secretary Grant Shapps gives 'complete commitment' to YEP's Unlock the Gridlock campaign - and we'll keep on watching

He paid a special visit to the YEP's office yesterday to see and hear first hand about the dire state of transport in Leeds.

In a significant boost to our Unlock the Gridlock campaign, Grant Shapps gave his full commitment to our to-do list to get Leeds moving.

Mr Shapps also called on local transport chiefs to help solve Leeds’ transport crisis and getting the city moving.

This is a complex issue that has no easy fix.

We’ve said it before and we’ll reiterate the message again - actions speak louder than words.
