No excuse for ignoring rules on isolation - YEP letters

Judging by the volumes of UK residents ignoring government warnings regarding social distancing when out and about, as shown on national television and in the press, it is hoped the idiot element in society will be officially dealt with.

There can be no excuse for ignoring such warnings as those people encourage the spread of the coronavirus infection ensuring the deaths of many, likely including their family members and friends alike.

To even think ‘it won’t happen to me’ is to demonstrate a naïve stupidity and total lack of consideration of others.

The same applies to those who stock pile valuable food supplies and other goods, unnecessarily stripping supermarket shelves instead of recognising the fact that supermarkets state there is plenty of food for everyone so need for bulk buying.

Those individuals, and they know who they are, are a disgrace to society.
