Motorcyclist, 44, seriously injured after collision with two cars in Wakefield

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident at Went Lane in Wragby, close to the junction with the A638 Doncaster Road.

A Suzuki motorbike, a Peugeot 206 and a Citroen C1 were involved in the collision at around 3.55pm on Monday, February 22.

The motorbike was travelling from Featherstone towards Nostell and collided with both cars, which were travelling in the opposite direction.

The 44-year-old man was taken to Leeds General Hospital with very serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Any witnesses are asked to call PC Alan Patchett at Carr Gate via 101.
