Marathon effort, thank you doctors

a quartet of sporty academics from Leeds Beckett University collectively raised more than £7,500 for a series of charities by doing the Paris Marathon.

Dr Michelle Mellis, Dr Zoe Rutherford, Dr Faye Didymus and Dr Laurie Patterson did months of training for the April 3 event.

The Carnegie Faculty sport lecturers ran for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the Lymphoma Association, Mind UK, MacMillan UK and Coppafeel.
