Police yesterday arrested another man, 28, from Bradford, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He is believed to be the driver of the Audi A5, which was travelling in convoy with the Golf at the time of the collision. He was in custody last night, West Yorkshire Police say.

Seven other men have been arrested and bailed.

Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Belton, of the force’s Homicide and Major Enquiries Team, said: “I would like to thank the public for their excellent response to our appeals for information.

“I would also like to extend my heartfelt sympathies to the family of James, who are still trying to come to terms with their loss. Our specially trained officers will continue to provide the family with support at this very difficult time.”
