Leeds United's promotion odds slashed following Marcelo Bielsa appointment

Leeds United's odds with the bookies have been slashed following the appointment of Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.

Stoke City remain the favourites for the Championship title at 2/1, with fellow relegated clubs West Bromich Albion and Swansea City at 3/1 to take the league outright.

Middlesbrough are also at 3/1 alongside last season's play-off finalists Aston Villa at 5/1 to take the honours.

The Whites have dropped from 20/1 to just 8/1 to win the title following the Argentines arrival, while to be promoted next campaign United are now as short as 3/1 with some bookmakers having been at 5/1 just a month ago.

Bielsa is expected to arrive in West Yorkshire next Saturday ahead of the expected pre-season return date of June 25 at Thorp Arch.
