Leeds school gets connected

Leeds' newest school has formed a partnership with technology company aql which will result in state of the art equipment, ultra-fast broadband and workshops.

University Technical College (UTC) Leeds which opens next month, has joined forces with aql as part of its mission to foster relationships with local employers.

The school will benefit from exceptional connectivity, part-funded by aql.

Mark Kennedy, principal of UTC Leeds said: “We’re very thankful to aql for providing us with ultrafast broadband and I’m sure our students will enjoy and benefit from the workshops being held.

“We’re looking forward to for next month’s opening and kick-starting the new academic year with all of our students and partners.”
