Leeds nostalgia: East Ardsley
This week we take a look back at the terrace streets and corner shops of East Ardsley from the late 1960s.

This fascinating set of shops was at the corner of Mary Street and Fall Lane and shows J B Ordish’s general store and pet shop festooned with advertising.
Looking south along Main Street we see more classic advertising boards on the side of number 16 but some properties were in a poor state of repair such as these on Sarah Street.
