Final hurdles to switch on Leeds town wireless internet plan
Final steps are being taken to make long-awaited plans for free wireless internet in Morley town centre a reality.
Council officers met with Morley Town Council over the proposals in November over the free WiFi scheme for businesses and visitors.

And a second meeting is set to take place this month to agree the final details on positioning the hardware for the internet scheme.
The network equipment will be installed on map posts along Queen Street in the town centre, if given the go-ahead.
Organisers hope it will be completed by summer.
Robert Finnigan, chairman of Morley Town Centre Partnership, said: “There is good progress towards providing the type of digital support required for Morley Town Centre traders.
“With a free WiFi system, focused on promoting Morley businesses, we should see an increased footfall across Morley town centre.”
