Tyra, 15-year-old crossbreed, had lived with the same family since being a puppy, but recently found herself at Dogs Trust Leeds, when her family could no longer keep her. She loves a good walk, enjoys exploring new places and loves a fuss and cuddles. She could share her new home with a four-legged friend as well as children over eight-years-old.

Emma Cooper, assistant manager at the York Road rehoming centre, said: “She is a really giddy, friendly girl and her tail really never stops wagging. It is difficult for all dogs when they can no longer stay with their family, but Tyra has been with hers since being a puppy so we would love her to be back at the heart of a home as soon as possible. She is missing her home comforts and the love of a family so nothing would make us happier than if she found her Best Friend Forever before everyone celebrates Friendship Day.”
