West Yorkshire Police make three arrests as huge cannabis farm with 1,200 plants found in Wakefield raid

Three people have been arrested after a huge cannabis farm was uncovered in Wakefield.

Following a tip-off from the public, police raided a commercial property in the Eastmoor area on Thursday morning.

They found a large cannabis grow with more than 1,200 plants inside.

Three people were caught at the site and arrested.

A spokesperson for Wakefield City and North West police said enquiries are ongoing.
