The officers were patrolling the Seacroft area of Leeds when they stopped and searched a vehicle which had come to their attention.

A 23-year-old and a 30-year-old who were inside the vehicle were arrested on suspicion of possessing a weapon among 'multiple offences'.

Operation Jemlock officers shared pictures of the weapons on Twitter and said: "26th January, officers from #OpJemlock on patrol in the #Seacroft area of #Leeds.

"Their attention is drawn to a vehicle which is stopped and searched.

"The two occupants aged 23 and 30 are arrested for multiple offences including possession of the weapons shown."

At the beginning of January, officers said they had made 5000 arrests since the operation began in 2019.
