Trio flee after car crashes into house and sets on fire in Morley

Police are investigating after a car crashed into a house and set on fire in Leeds

It happened at about 5.05am on Sunday, June 27 on Eyrie Approach in Morley.

A black Volkswagen Polo lost control and collided into a house on the street.

Three people believed to be travelling in the car fled on foot towards Magpie Lane.

Shortly after this, the car caught fire.

The occupants inside the house were unharmed.

Officers have released CCTV images in a bid to identify the three occupants of the car.

Any witnesses to the incident, who saw the Volkswagen prior to the collision or shortly after and anyone with dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 440 of 27 June 2021.
