7. Keano Djalo
Djalo was the ringleader in a machete gang attack on a house where a 90-year-old grandmother was left injured. The 22-year-old wanted to exact revenge on the woman's grandson at their Whinmoor home, so turned up with three friends armed with a machete and wooden bats. They tried to smash their way in, injuring the woman and her grandson in the process. Djalo, of Montagu Rise, Hollin Park, admitted ABH and attempted GBH. He was jailed for 40 months with the judge telling him: "You were essentially armed to the teeth." Photo: WYP
8. Mohammed Gulastan
Educated Mohammed Gulastan was jailed after driving at dangerously high speeds before ploughing into another car in Beeston. He had taken his dad's VW Golf R without permission, was not insured, and reached speeds beyond 100mph as he raced towards Leeds. He then collided with the Citroen, seriously injuring the female driver and her passengers, along with the male passenger in his own car. Gulastan, age 24, of Hollinroyd Road, Dewsbury, was told by the judge it was "astonishing that the injuries were not worse". He was jailed for two years. Photo: WYP
