"Once again it’s disappointing to see that a small minority of people can cause damage to a public play park, that brings joy to so many young children from across the estate"

Yvonne Allman provided a picture of the latest damage to the YEP.

She said: "All the people who use the park are absolutely disgusted.

"We are so angry."

Yvonne said the latest incident had been reported to the police and encourage the community to do the same.

She added: "Hopefully together we can stop it."

Councillor Simon Seary told the YEP the park "brings joy to so many young children" from across the Swinnow estate.

"We would ask if anyone has any information regarding Anti Social Behaviour in the area, that they report it to the police immediately.
