Police seize 75 cannabis plants after discovering farm in Leeds property

Police have uncovered a cannabis farm in south Leeds.

Officers from the Leeds South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) searched a property in Beeston on Sunday.

They discovered a cannabis farm inside the property and seized 75 plants.

Police have launch an investigation and are searching for the occupants of the address.

The Leeds South NPT tweeted a picture of the cannabis farm and said: "Officers from NPT have attended an address in the Beeston area where a cannabis farm was located.

"Around 75 plants have been seized and enquiries are ongoing to trace the occupants of the address.

"If you have any information regarding the cultivation on supply of drugs, please contact your local NPT online, via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800555111."
