'Please slow down': Police set up cameras on Bradford Road in Leeds and catch three drivers

Three drivers have faced police action after officers set up cameras on a road in south Leeds.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit set up cameras on Bradford Road (A650), East Ardsley, on Saturday morning.

In a 'short space of time' officers caught one vehicle speeding at more than 50mph in a 30mph limit and reported another driver for driving without due care and attention.

A third driver was given a section 59 warning for using their vehicle in a manner which caused 'alarm, distress or annoyance'.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit said: "In a short space of time this morning, RPU officers caught this driver speeding, reported a driver for driving without due care and attention and gave a Section 59 warning.

"Please slow down and take care."
