Over 300 drink and drug driving West Yorkshire Police arrests in December


A further 69 arrests have been made by West Yorkshire Police in week four of the National Police Chiefs' Council Winter Drink and Drug Drive campaign.
This is in addition to the 250 arrests that had been made before Christmas.

Hide Ad36 people were arrested for drink driving, 28 for drug driving and five for failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
This brings the total to 319 people having been arrested since December 1.
The West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "A further 69 arrests were made in Week 4 of the @PoliceChiefs Winter Drink & Drug Drive Campaign.
"36 for Drink Driving, 28 for Drug Driving & 5 for Failing to provide. Total now of 319 arrests since 1st December #WYPTheCost"
