Officers from the Leeds North East Neighbourhood Policing Team have been paying specific attention to antisocial behaviour recently.
They approached two drivers in Moortown over their behaviour but the drivers 'thought it better' to abandon their vehicles instead.
Police have recovered the vehicles and will now be making enquiries with their owners.
A post on the West Yorkshire Police Leeds North East team Facebook page said: "Officers from Leeds North East NPT Moortown ward have been paying attention to antisocial behaviour.
