Man stabbed following disturbance in Wakefield street
A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Wakefield last night (July 1).
Police were called to a disturbance on Manygates Avenue in Wakefield at 10.05pm.
As a result of the incident, a man suffered stab injuries and was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A scene remains in place in the area as officers establish exactly what took place.
