Man critically ill after assault on Westgate in Wakefield
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after a serious assault on Westgate in the early hours of Sunday morning
The man aged in his 40s suffered head injuries during the incident, which happened just before 3.30am on Sunday. (August 2)
Police said Yorkshire Ambulance Service called for police to attend a report of a serious assault.
Police said the man remains in hospital where his condition today (Aug 3) is described as critical but stable.
