Man charged over incident where shots were fired in Leeds

A man has been charged over an incident where shots were fired at a house in Seacroft.

Connor Hennigan, aged 25, of Foundry Lane, Leeds, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of a firearm, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).

The charges are over an incident on Kentmere Avenue on Saturday, where shots were fired at about 8.25am.

A 32-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman who were arrested as part of the investigation have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
