Man charged with cash transit robbery at McColl's in Horsforth

A man has been charged after a security guard was robbed at McColl's in Horsforth.

It happened at 12.14pm on Friday, January 17 while the security guard was collecting cash from the shop on Broadgate Lane.

A Nissan Qashqai was found on fire on Regent Court later that day.

Daniel Rozycki of Glensdale Road, Leeds, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today (Monday) charged with robbery in relation to the incident.

The 29-year-old is also charged with arson, as well as two further counts of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a knife.
