Man arrested over Seacroft motorbike crash

A man has been arrested over a fail to stop motorbike crash which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

A 29-year-old woman was hit by a motorbike on The Green, just after 6pm yesterday (Wednesday).

West Yorkshire Police put out an appeal after the rider of a blue and white BMW failed to stop at the scene.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries and police closed part of The Green, Old York Road and Hansby Gate for more than four hours.

Officers have now confirmed that a 28-year-old man was arrested this morning in connection with the incident.
