Man arrested after cannabis farm discovered in Beeston

A man has been arrested after a cannabis farm was found in Beeston.

Officers were tipped off by members of the community.

West Yorkshire Police raided a property in the Cross Flatts area of Beeston on Friday, where they found the farm.

The force's Leeds South team posted on Facebook: "Acting on community intelligence a cannabis farm was discovered yesterday (Friday 1st May) evening in the Cross Flatts area of Beeston, Leeds.

"One male was arrested from the address and enquiries are ongoing.

"Anybody with intelligence relating to drugs, crime or antisocial behaviour in the area where you live are encouraged to report this via Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111, Non-emergency Police on 101 or try the online reporting system."
