A man accused of murdering a woman whose body was found at a Wakefield address could stand trial this autumn.
David Barraclough appeared at Leeds Crown Court this morning, having been charged with the recent killing 37-year-old mum Carolann Barraclough.
The 45-year-old appeared over a video link from HMP Leeds.
Wearing a green T-shirt, heavily-tattooed Barraclough was not arraigned during the brief hearing but a preliminary trial date of October 5 was agreed.

He only spoke to confirm his name and date of birth.
Barraclough, of Ken Churchill Drive, Horbury, was remanded back into custody and will appear in court on March 31 where he will be expected to enter a plea to the murder charge.
Police attended at a property Ken Churchill Drive on, Thursday, March 5, after officers received a concern for safety report for a woman.
Following a search, Mrs Barraclough’s body was found at the property.
After Barraclough’s arrest, DCI Stacey Atkinson, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “Complex enquiries remain ongoing at Ken Churchill Drive and will be for a number of days as we investigate what has taken place there.”
