Homes damaged and buses targeted in suspected ball bearing gun attacks
Police are investigating
Homes have been damaged and three buses targeted in suspected ball bearing or pellet gun attacks in Wakefield.

Councillor Nadeem Ahmed (Conservative/Wakefield South) said he has seen four photographs of damaged windows - and said ball bearings had been found - following the incidents in Agbrigg late last month.
Police have confirmed they are investigating a number of reports of damage to homes in Agbrigg and Arriva say three buses have been struck by projectiles.

West Yorkshire Police are believed to be investigating if the ball bearings were fired from a ball bearing or pellet gun or a catapult.
Coun Ahmed said: "A lady got in touch with me to say she had heard two noises. She went to her window and saw two marks which distinctly looked like a ball bearing or a pellet gun.
"A number of residents contacted me around the same time to say they have damage to windows on their homes.
"It appears Doncaster Road and Agbrigg Road were being targeted with somebody with a pellet gun or BB gun."

"Everybody who has seen the marks are saying it's a ball bearing or pellet gun which has damaged windows. I have seen four photographs of damaged windows."
A police spokesperson said: "Police have received a number of reports of properties being damaged in and around Doncaster Road and Agbrigg Road on the evenings of Monday October 26 and Tuesday October 27.
"A report was also received of criminal damage caused to a bus travelling on Doncaster Road. This was reported to have taken place shortly before 8pm on Monday October 26 .
"Enquiries are ongoing."

A spokesperson for Arriva Yorkshire said: “Three of our buses, including the 148 service, were damaged by projectiles in Wakefield on Tuesday, October 27.
“Several windows were broken and no one was injured.
“We reported the incidents to West Yorkshire Police and are supporting their enquiries. Anyone with information should contact the police.”
