Convicted gun minder facing lengthy sentence after another pistol found at his Leeds home
A man previously jailed for helping to store a loaded gun is facing a new lengthy sentence after another pistol was found at his home.
Ryan Semeniuk was put behind bars in 2021 after a converted blank-firing pistol was found buried in a garden in Gildersome.
Last month a Colt 1876 Thunderer double-action revolver was found at his home on Pleasant Terrace in Holbeck.

Recalled on licence from his previous gun offence, he appeared at Leeds Crown Court this week over a videolink from HMP Leeds where he admitted possessing the Colt.
The court was told that an analysis of the pistol remained ongoing, in a bid to determine whether the weapon is capable of being fired.
Despite 33-year-old Semeniuk’s wish to be sentenced, Judge Alex Menary said the findings could make a material difference to the length of his sentence.
He is facing a minimum five-year mandatory term.
Judge Menary told Semeniuk: “I want to make sure the sentence is fair to you and there’s a risk if I proceed, that would be unfair because we have not got all of the information.”
Semeniuk was jailed for more than five years in 2021 after a gun was found buried in the garden of Vicarage Avenue in Gildersome.
The cartridge and ammunition was found to contain Semeniuk’s DNA.
It followed an investigation after a man had been gunned down in Middleton.
