Good Samaritan knocked unconscious at Leeds Station after trying to stop abusive men in KFC

Police have released these CCTV images after a man was knocked unconscious at Leeds Station - after intervening in an altercation.

It happened at about 7.30pm on December 21, when a verbal altercation broke out between a group of men and a man and a woman in KFC.

Two of the men from the group became threatening and abusive, and the victim, a man in his thirties, tried to intervene.

He was then knocked to the ground and kicked in the head, losing consciousness.

The victim was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury.

The British Transport Police believes the men pictured in the CCTV images may have information which could help them.
