Dog-loving Leeds judge told cruel owner he 'would have dealt with him' himself
‘Despicable’ man sent video of pet suffering a seizure
A judge described a dog owner who threw his pet against a wall then filmed it as “despicable”, telling him he might have “dealt with” him himself.
Judge Ray Singh made the comments to Jordan Fulthorpe who had sent the sickening footage of the stricken dog to his ex partner.
At Leeds Crown Court Fulthorpe admitted sending obscene communications.
Judge Singh told him: “It’s despicable what you did. As a dog owner, if I had got that [footage], I would have perhaps dealt with you myself.”

Prosecutor Jade Edwards said Fulthorpe and his ex partner had been in a relationship for seven years.
In April this year the 33-year-old sent her a video of his dog having a seizure and told her he had thrown the pet against the wall.
He told her that he “lost his head” with the dog and that the animal “had to learn”.
The horrified woman asked him to give the dog back before he “ended up dead”.
Fulthorpe, of Spen Green, West Park, denied wrongdoing but changed his plea to guilty on the day he was due to stand trial.
He has 15 previous convictions for 27 offences and was on a 24-month suspended sentence for a serious violent assault.
Mitigating, Daisy Wrigley said Fulthorpe was suffering from severe mental health issues and had been sectioned. He was now on anti-psychotic medication.
She added that he has learning difficulties and “has an inability to cook, manage his finances and communicate with others”.
Judge Singh told Fulthorpe he had made ex’s life “hell” and told him communication with her “has to stop”.
He gave him an indefinite-length restraining order.
He gave him a three-month jail sentence, meaning he would be released immediately due to time spent on remand.
He opted not to activate his suspended sentence.
