British Transport Police release CCTV images after train guard attacked at Pontefract Monkhill Station

A train guard has undergone surgery on a broken finger after being attacked at a station in West Yorkshire.

The assault happened on a train at Pontefract Monkhill Railway Station at 9pm on Friday October 16.

British Transport Police have launched an investigation into the report of grievous bodily harm.

Officers have released CCTV images and would like to speak to the people pictured, who may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who knows them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 587 of October 16.
