Brazilian biker riding erratically in Leeds was drug-dealing illegal immigrant
A biker spotted by police riding erratically through Leeds city centre was found to be dealing cocaine.
Anderson Rodrigues Pereira was found to be a Brazilian immigrant who had entered the UK illegally.
The 35-year-old admitted at Leeds Crown Court dealing in a Class A drug and was handed a jail sentence. He was told he is likely to be deported once released.
The court heard that officers spotted the black Yamaha being ridden along The Calls on October 22. He was pulled over because of the manner in which he was riding the bike, which was also bearing L plates.

He was searched and found to have £1,500 in cash on him and around £200 worth of cocaine in separate bags, prosecutor Sophie Lamb said.
A search was then carried out where he had been staying and more than £4,000 of cocaine was found dotted around the property.
However, he later entered a basis of plea that the drugs at the property were not his, which was accepted by the Crown.
The court was told he had no previous convictions and had only entered the UK in September, weeks before his arrest.
Mitigating, Shannon Woodley said Pereira accepted he was dealing drugs simply to make money. She said he “fell” into criminality because he could not get legitimate work due to his illegal status.
He accepted he was a drug runner and expressed remorse for his actions, and given his lack of previous convictions, she said it was “out of character” for him.
Ms Woodley said Pereira had worked as an Uber driver in Brazil but wanted to come to the UK for a better life.
The judge, Recorder Mark McKone KC jailed Pereira for 20 months.
