Cloth Cat free summer music camp in Leeds
Youngsters interested in music can join free workshops in Leeds Central Library next month.
The sessions for 11-18 year olds are aimed at trying a new instrument or building skills and will be held from August 3-7 on the first floor music department, 10.30am-12.30pm.

A spokesperson said: "Each day offers a different two-hour workshop led by our friendly tutors, giving you the chance to get creative, experiment, and build new skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.
"No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!"
What’s Happening Each Day: Monday August 3 - Percussion: Explore rhythm, groove, and learn how to lock in with each other. Tuesday August 4 - DJing: Get hands-on with DJ decks and learn how to mix tracks, beat match, and use FX. Wednesday August 5 - Ukulele: Learn chords, strumming patterns, and fun songs that you can play from day one. Thursday August 6 - Songwriting: Learn to write lyrics, build melodies, and shape your own original piece. Friday August 7 - Recording: Step into Leeds Libraries' brand new recording booths to capture your creations! Experiment with equipment and software, and learn how music is produced.
Spaces are limited, so early sign-ups are encouraged to make sure no one misses out on their favourite workshop of the week!
