Christmas card posting habits revealed
One in 10 people send Christmas cards to their pets, a study suggests.
Research by the Royal Mail indicated that a similar number also post cards to a friend’s pet.
A survey of more than 2,000 adults suggested that 4% give a Christmas card to their postman or woman and 3% send one to an ex-partner.
The average Briton sends 18 festive cards, with a few keeping their cards on show for more than six months, Royal Mail said.
