Cameras are focusing in on the paw-fect puppet

Sooty, who was created by Harry Corbett, is set to take a starring role in a documentary about how the popular puppet came into being.
A special screening will be held at Guiseley Theatre on Saturday, October 1, at 6.30pm.

Hide AdAnd some of Sooty’s celebrity friends will be joining the event including Harry’s son Matthew, who was Sooty’s handler for over two decades, and Brenda Longman who was the voice of his friend Soo.
Ticket sales from the event will go towards purchasing a new public access defibrillator unit for the area.
Tickets are priced £20 but there will be a special rate of £10 for Guiseley residents.
