The chain has taken over the former Yates pub on Boar Lane, which has been re-branded as a cocktail bar by the Stonegate Pub Company, who own both businesses.
This is why Yates on Boar Lane has closedIt opens on December 8 after a massive refurbishment, and is just a few minutes' walk from another Slug and Lettuce on Park Row.

Hide Ad£500,000 has been spent on the new decor, which promises to bring 'a stylish edge' to Leeds that is 'fit for an Instagram king or queen'.


The interior features 'bird cage' seating areas that can be booked for events such as hen parties and baby showers.
There's also a VIP cocktail masterclass station where you can learn to make a number of concoctions.
The food menu has 23 dishes and the drinks list features the Pornstar Martini tree - described as 'Insta-worthy' and ideal for a group of friends ordering cocktails.

Hide AdOffers include 2-for-1 cocktails from 4-10pm on weeknights and wine from £12 a bottle on Wine Down Wednesdays.


The bar hosted its official VIP launch party on Friday night before throwing open its doors to the general public on Saturday.
Owners Stonegate closed party pub Yates because they wanted to appeal to the city's changing demographics with a food and cocktail-orientated venue.
