Staff at the Dogs Trust Leeds rehoming centre in Leeds are hoping to find permanent, loving families for 22 unique dogs currently in their care.
The rescue residents currently waiting for adoption represent a wide range of breeds, ages, and backgrounds. The list includes everything from intelligent, high-energy crossbreeds ready for active training to gentle senior companions looking to spend their retirement years in a peaceful, quiet household.
Each dog has its own specific rehoming criteria - such as requiring an adult-only environment, a secure garden for off-lead play, or dedicated owners willing to continue ongoing training and socialisation.

19. Indy (American Bully Classic Cross - 2-5 years)
Described by all his friends as a sweet and affectionate boy, he gets more snuggly the better he knows you and is looking for a home where he can be the only pet while he continues to build his doggie socialisation skills. Indy has a great brain and is highly food-motivated, making ongoing training easy and fun, though he needs confident adopters who are comfortable with larger, strong dogs and can help him work on his focus and confidence. | Dogs Trust Leeds

20. Kaye (Italian Corso - 2-5 Years)
Kaye is a playful one-year-old Italian Corso Cross who is looking for a patient and understanding home. Although initially wary of new people, he warms up after a few meetings - especially if treats are involved. Kaye has made great progress with his training and will thrive in a home where he can continue learning. Once he trusts you, he’s both cuddly and fun-loving. | Dogs Trust

21. Jupiter (Dobermann Cross - 5-7 Years)
Jupiter is a a six-year-old Dobermann Cross who forms a very strong bond with his friends. Jupiter is what we call a ‘Velcro dog’, because he will stick by your side! He likes to be with his friends all the time so it will be a little while until he can be built up to any time on his own, but this just means more Jupiter cuddles. | Dogs Trust Leeds

22. Brontë (Crossbreed - 5-7 Years)
Brontë is a three-year-old Crossbreed who would really suit an active home with people who want to do plenty of activities and training with her. She loves to learn so teaching her new tricks would be easy. She is friendly, but needs a little space until she knows you properly. | Dogs Trust
