Volunteer-run rescue charity Cat Action Trust 1977 is appealing to animal lovers across Leeds and West Yorkshire to help find permanent, loving homes for 26 cats and kittens currently in foster care.
From playful 10-week-old kittens and bonded sibling trios to resilient former strays and gentle lap-cats seeking quiet retirement spots, the charity’s latest adoption list features a wide variety of feline personalities waiting for their fresh start.
Whether you are looking to welcome a lively pair of playful kittens into a family home or offer a peaceful haven to a shy rescue cat needing time and patience, here are all 26 cats currently available for adoption through Cat Action Trust 1977.
13. Jessie (8 Months)
Friendly, chatty, and agile, resilient Jessie has overcome a tough start with a smile like the Joker and the grace of a ballerina. She loves good food, gets along well with other cats and older children, and is looking for a garden to explore away from busy roads. | Cat Action Leeds 1977
14. Rhys (5 Years)
Nicknamed "Pip" for his sweet vocal talent, Rhys is a loyal and devoted companion who loves following his humans around, riding on shoulders like a co-pilot, and sleeping with a paw on you at night. He thrives on being the centre of attention in a loving home. | Cat Action Trust 1977
15. Marble, Callie and Skippy (9–10 Weeks)
This adorable trio of purr-machine kittens are playful, affectionate, and full of energy. While closely bonded best friends Marble and Callie must be adopted together as a pair (if not as a trio), independent Skippy is happy to join a home with another resident cat to play with. | Cat Action Trust 1977
16. Amber and Scarlett (3 Years)
Rescued together from the streets of inner-city Leeds, these confident and loving tortie best friends formed a strong bond visiting local gardens for food. After Amber successfully recovered from life-saving surgery, both safe and healthy girls are ready for a loving home together as the only cats. | Cat Action Trust 1977
17. Peaches and Bagel (12 Weeks)
Tiny ladies with big personalities, Peaches is an affectionate cuddle bug who loves making biscuits on soft blankets, while her slightly quieter sister Bagel seeks comfort in snuggles and vocalises when dinner is late. They are looking for a forever home together. | Cat Action Trust 1977
18. Archie (5 Months)
A shy former feral kitten who is slowly learning that humans can be kind, Archie needs a patient owner willing to let him build trust at his own speed. Having a friendly, confident resident cat in the home would be a great bonus to help him blossom. | Cat Action Trust 1977
