Volunteer-run rescue charity Cat Action Trust 1977 is appealing to animal lovers across Leeds and West Yorkshire to help find permanent, loving homes for 26 cats and kittens currently in foster care.
From playful 10-week-old kittens and bonded sibling trios to resilient former strays and gentle lap-cats seeking quiet retirement spots, the charity’s latest adoption list features a wide variety of feline personalities waiting for their fresh start.
Whether you are looking to welcome a lively pair of playful kittens into a family home or offer a peaceful haven to a shy rescue cat needing time and patience, here are all 26 cats currently available for adoption through Cat Action Trust 1977.
7. Roscoe (5 Years)
Roscoe is a cuddly, loving boy who adores strokes and Lick-e-Lix once he earns your trust. While he can be a bit hissy with new people, a patient owner willing to give him time will be rewarded with a devoted companion who loves watching the world go by. | Third Party
8. Kuro, Tora and Clementine (1 Year)
This sweet trio of siblings is looking for a peaceful rural or semi-rural home together to continue growing in confidence. Brave tuxedo girl Kuro loves chasing dandelion fluff, handsome tabby Clementine is curious once settled, and gentle ginger boy Tora continues to blossom with patience. | Cat Action Leeds 1977
9. Nelson (8 Months)
Affectionate, playful, and very food-motivated, Nelson is a lovely young boy who enjoys chasing feather sticks and being picked up once settled. He thrives in the company of other cats and would love a home where he can share his energy with a resident feline bestie. | Cat Action Leeds 1977
10. Reuben (2 Years)
A sensitive, gentle purr machine who adores sitting on laps and soaking up cuddles, Reuben is discovering how wonderful human affection can be. He would thrive either as an only cat with devoted humans or paired with a young, playful, and confident feline friend. | Cat Action Leeds 1977
11. Monty (2 Years)
Handsome, fast, and pouncy, Monty is a lively two-year-old who loves chasing feather toys and standing on laps making biscuits once settled. Very affectionate and food-driven, he is looking for a doting owner with outdoor access where he can be the only cat in the home. | Third Party
12. Maisie (Age TBC)
A sweet tortie and former street cat who has taken motherhood in her stride, Maisie has settled beautifully into home life without any urge to dash outside. She is wonderfully trusting, gets on great with other cats, and loves chasing tape measures and dangly toys. | Cat Action Leeds 1977
