The handsome pooches, who are staying at the rehoming centre in York Road, have had a busy few weeks.
This month, the dogs up for adoption include one-year-old Ebony, a classic Staffy who was found as a stray.
Dogs Trust Leeds works closely with members of the public and wardens to rehome pups in need. So why not bring a bit of joy and warmth into your home by taking home one of these furballs?
Here are 11 of the dogs up for adoption –
7. Lexi
Nine-month-old Bulldog Cross Lexi has had an unsettled life so far, having spent quite a lot of time in kennels, but she is settling into her training well. She will need a calm and predictable home for her training to succeed. A secure garden is vital for burning off energy. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust
8. Mylo
One-year-old Hound Crossbreed Mylo would be fine to live with another dog of a similar size, if they are happy with the rough and tumble play that he enjoys. He would be fine with older children, but not young ones. He must have a secure garden to play in and will need someone around all the time initially. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust
9. Otis
Otis is a very handsome five-year-old Boxer Crossbreed with a real zest for life. He has no problems making new friends as he just loves everyone. His bouncy nature would not suit young children but secondary school aged kids who are confident around giddy dogs should be fine. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust
10. Piston
Piston is a big but friendly 18-month-old Rottweiler. He is happy making new friends and should be fine with secondary school aged children. Piston loves his walks and can be giddy and strong at times, but in capable hands he’s great to walk. He is playful with dogs out and about but in the home, he would like to be the only pet as he doesn’t like sharing the limelight. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust
11. Sasha
Sasha is a beautiful two-year-old Rottweiler Ridgeback Crossbreed. She is very shy around people she doesn't know and seems a little timid with the world in general, but when she's built a bond, she is playful, loves her toys and super easy to walk. Due to her worries, she will need a calm, peaceful home where she can develop a good routine. Kids and other pets will create too much unpredictability for her, so she must be the only pet in an adult home, although very calm and sensible older teens may be considered. A secure garden is vital. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust
12. Zena
Zena is a beautiful one-year-old Crossbreed who has had an unsettled time recently. She’s doing well with her training but will need dedicated adopters to continue this in her home. She’s been learning how to socialise with other dogs but won’t be able to share home with any pets. Young children won’t suit her, but confident older teens should be fine. If you’re looking for a snuggly, playful dog and have the time to settle her in properly then Zena could be a great match for you. | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust
