There is always lots going on at the LeedsDogs Trust rehoming centre in York Street and this week has been no exception.
Here, the charity's team gives us an exclusive look behind the scenes at day-to-day life and introduces us to some of the animals looking to find loving new homes.

7. Louise
Louise has been progressing with her training. She’s an 8-month-old Crossbreed who loves being around people. Since she hasn’t had much training in her short life the centre’s Training and Behaviour team are helping her learn some simple tasks and she’s picking them up really well. She’s looking for a home with adults who will work alongside our team to continue her training and keep her on the right tracks.
Anna and Lexi are very devoted to each other and have always been together. They're both really friendly with people straight away and enjoy plenty of fuss. Although they are manageable with other dogs at a distance, they don't like them coming up too close so need to be walked in quieter areas with less dogs around. They still have plenty of energy and playfulness in them, but they also enjoy a peaceful life too where they can snooze together in their bed. Anna and Lexi will suit an active family who enjoy bubbly playful dogs. Children over 11 years will be fine, but they do not want to share their home with any other pets.
