There is always lots going on at the LeedsDogs Trust rehoming centre in York Street and this week has been no exception.
Here, the charity's team gives us an exclusive look behind the scenes at day-to-day life and introduces us to some of the animals looking to find loving new homes.

Bertie hit new heights with his agility training this week! He’s a two-year-old Bulldog who is full of energy. He loves getting out and about and here he is showing just how aerodynamic he can be! He’s hoping to find a new home in a calm and predictable adult household, with adopters who will understand his worries and help him continue to flourish.
Following the recent building work, the Rehoming Centre has been able to welcome back some of their amazing volunteers. Here is Evelyn, one of the centre’s laundry volunteers. She helps the team keep the dogs bedding nice and clean for their kennels. Although the centre is not currently recruiting new volunteers while they settle the existing ones back in, when applications do open it will be announced on the Dogs Trust Leeds website and social media channels.
Charlie and Misty posed for this lovely photo and don’t they look super cute? They’re a devoted pair of best friends who are looking for a new home together. Charlie, a four year old Collie Cross and Misty, a 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier are lots of fun to be around and although may seem an odd couple, they really are best friends. They’d love to find a home with adopters who lead a calm and peaceful life.
