1. Alfie
Alfie is a gorgeous little Yorkshire Terrier with so much love to give. He's a little shy at first and takes time to build up trust with his new owners, but once he has he's the most doting little pup you could ever meet. He prefers to go for walks in quieter areas where he can roam without feeling overwhelmed as he gets a little distressed about sharing his space. He would prefer to be the only pet in the home.
2. Ebony
Ebony was found with no ears and tail after her previous owner had cut them off. Despite having a hard life, this pup will bring rays of sunshine into your home with her bouncy attitude and playful nature. Confident with other dogs and a fan of a good walk, Ebony is the perfect companion for active folk who want a dog that can keep up with them. At nine years old, she does have a few medical problems that would need to be discussed, but she does not let these hold her back. Ebony is suitable for a family home with teenagers.
3. Dillon
Another ex-racing dog, Dillon has retired to a quiet life and is looking for an owner who can offer him a lovely garden to bounce around in and plenty of back scratches. He's fine to live with older children and has the potential to share a home with other dogs, and he's able to be left alone for short periods of time. Dillon loves being groomed so an owner who wants a pup to give a good brush would be perfect for this little lad.
4. Sammy
This older gent is eight years old and is looking for a home to spend his life in. At the minute Sammy finds living in a kennel quite stressful so it's very important his owner is someone with stability to offer him. He loves to play and has plenty of energy on his walks, and is fine with older children as long as he is the only pet in the home. He is a little vocal around other dogs so he prefers to go exploring in quieter areas.
5. Albert
Look at this big handsome smile! Albert is only 14 months old and loves to give big cuddles and licks to show you how much he loves you. This affection may come as a surprise to those who've seen Alfie grow up- he has been without a home since he was 10 days old and has struggled to settle. Somehow he hasn't let it phase him and is one of the most joyful giants you will meet. He has a few health conditions so needs owners willing to take extra special care with him.
6. Dottie
Dottie is a gorgeous, vibrant boxer that is coming up to six years old. Dottie is dog social, but she is very worried about unfamiliar people and she needs to follow an introduction plan in order to get to know the new people in her life. Dottie has been rehomed and returned due to her behaviour around people she doesn't know, so because of this, we're looking for experienced dog owners who are looking for a bit of a project! Dottie has been working really hard with the training team and now she is ready to meet her new family and step out into the world. Dottie loves meeting dogs out and about, but she will need to be the only dog in the home. Dottie has got several health problems which she is on medication for, including hypothyroidism. New owners must be aware of ongoing vet bills and the Dog's Trust centre vet will discuss her health issues with you. Dottie loves to play and absolutely adores cuddles and affection from her favourite people. She is looking for an adult only home.
